The automatic C60 Chronograph was launched in 2016 at a cost of £1,400 (or £1,450 on a bracelet). The first 18 months supply featured the previous CHR. WARD logo on the face. For sale here is the later model featuring the current CW logo, which was introduced in 2017 and cost £1,530 (or £1,600 on a bracelet).

It’s 43mm across (excluding crown), it stands at a none-too-shy 17mm tall so it’s no surprise to learn these Mk2 C60 Chronos are affectionately known as The Beast! They’re not all brute force and ignorance though. When you start looking in closely you can see many nice details, like the polished detailing on the case, the metalic sub dial rings contrasting against the dark blue, multi-layer face with Guilloche waves.

At its heart is the famous and trusty ETA 7750 Valjoux movement – as used in the current £1,800 C60 and C65 Chronograph models. The same calibre can be found inside many other premium watch brands such as Breitling, TAG Heuer, Panerai, Omega, IWC etc.

While it was removed from website sale near the end of 2019, the remaining stock was sold in a brief 2020 release. The watch for sale here is one of those final 2020 pieces, so it’s one of the very last Mk2 C60 Chronos to leave Park Street and probably the last one left in As-new condition!
