The Swiss based watchmaker Azimuth has performed a real revolution in watchmaking industry with its innovational elaborations and futuristic projects. The young brand places its main stake not on the classics, approved by ages, but on its own inimitable style creation. Azimuth watches design challenges human imagination. The company’s talented experts’ most genius invention is the “Back in Time” watch series. 

In 2010 the Swiss Azimuth watch company produced 2 Back In Time «Singapore Commemorative Edition» models, dedicated to Singapore’s 45th independence anniversary. Both novelties have 42mm diameter round cases, made of 316 L stainless steel. The timepieces’ coloring was chosen in accordance with Singapore flag’s colours: red and white. The white colour dominates in the one-handed model’s design: the white dial with the red numeric indexes and central hand, the white strap with red stitching, ideally supplementing the watch’s general aesthetics. The model with red dial has 2 central hands – the minute and seconds ones. The red strap with white stitching is harmoniously integrated in the watch’s case. The watches’ dials are decorated with the «Singapore Commemorative Edition – 1965-2010» encryption.

The watches’ peculiarity is the “reversed” dial marking, which is specially adapted for the hands’ backwards movement. The central hands move counterclockwise. In order to achieve this, special changes were implied to the automatic ETA 2836 movements, the watches are based on. The watches’ water resistance is up to 30 metres deep.
